1.    Distal 1/3 of first pleopod tapering, ending in 2 subacute tips and third small subtruncate one
       (Fig. 37a; see also Fig. 25a):......................................  Procambarus (C.) hinei  (Ortamnn, 1905).

       (Lentic habitats in southwestern Texas and southern Louisiana.  Literature: Penn, 1953a).

  • Distal 1/3 of first pleopod almost uniformly broad, ending in 2 distinct tips, one of which
    broadly truncate (Fig. 37b):...........................................  Procambarus (C.) incilis  Penn, 1962.

        (Lentic habitats in southeastern Texas - Jackson, Matagorda, and Wharton counties.
          Literature:  Penn, 1962).
